Art Club – Monoprinting

Art Club is a new weekly event at Badger Badger on a Thursday evening. Art Club will provide a safe space for all abilities, to have a time each week to play around with an array of materials and techniques with some gentle help and encouragement. Either build on prior knowledge or discover new creative processes that can easily be attempted at home with minimal art supplies. Art Club is about bringing together a friendly community of creatively curious people! Each week they’ll be a different theme & materials to use which is detailed in the title of each week’s event.

In this first session of Art Club we will be playing around with mono-printing, either working from a still life set up or using any other source of inspiration you might have! I will be showing you ways in which you can play with collage or pastels to create colour and interest into your prints.

Art Club will be hosted by Holly, who is an arts educator based in West Norwood with experience of teaching a large range of ages and abilities across a wide spectrum of materials and processes.
