Art Club – Observing & Recording Natural Objects

Art Club is a new weekly event at Badger Badger on a Thursday evening. Art Club will provide a safe space for all abilities, to have a time each week to play around with an array of materials and techniques with some gentle help and encouragement. Either build on prior knowledge or discover new creative processes that can easily be attempted at home with minimal art supplies. Art Club is about bringing together a friendly community of creatively curious people! Each week they’ll be a different theme & materials to use which is detailed in the title of each week’s event.

In this last January session we will be looking at the many ways in which we can observe and record natural objects. From creating beautifully delicate leaf prints (they make lovely greeting cards) to ink and stick drawings and simple rubbings. This will be a free flow session led by your own explorations. 

Art Club will be hosted by Holly, who is an arts educator based in West Norwood with experience of teaching a large range of ages and abilities across a wide spectrum of materials and processes.
